Vintage 1960’s ‘Flamingo’ Picnic Jug/Cooler by Poloron Products

Vintage 1960’s Flamingo Picnic Jug/Cooler, beautiful fibreglass insulated jug called Flamingo by Poloron Products Inc, New Rochelle, New York, USA, it is a dark/dusky pink in colour with like a hammer finish to the paint with the cool label on the front, with a cream plastic carrying handle on the top, with a cream screw top lid, with a pouring spout, still in the original box with the date of manufacture as 14/6/1960 and shipped on 21/9/1960 to Pyarmid Savings and Loan, Sun Valley, California, it states on the box that it keeps contents hot or cold and is lightweight, this is a great original cooler and in fantastic unused condition, the only slight fault is some of the paint has slightly rubbed off by the handle, see photos, but other than that is mint and never been used, even the box is in amazing original condition, size 9.5″ H, see our other matching ‘Flamingo’ products on the other pages
