Product Description
1960’s Brexton Venetian Picnic Set, absolutely stunning picnic set, I have never seen another one in this design, plates have a man in a gondola on each one, great design, made by Brexton, with the 2 knives and 4 forks strapped to the inside of lid along with 4 saucers and 4 small plates, and in the bottom it has 2 orange Thermos flasks, 4 yellow china teacups in a plastic crate, 2 plastic containers with lids and two glass ones, with 2 large sandwich boxes, and two original keys, made by Brexton, England, the case is amazingly good for it’s age and has the initials PRH on the corner, it is a orange/tan coloured vinyl material, also has 2 breathing holes, and 4 metal feet on the bottom, would look great in any classic car, great condition but main problem with the picnic set is the hinge has broken on the back of the case, so it opens fine but doesn’t open straight, and all hinges are surface rusted, also the 4 spoons are missing and 2 of the knives, and one of the Thermos cups is split where it has been over tightened, has slight wear on case but good for age, size 19″ W x 13″ H x 6″ D. Due to size, please e-mail for exact shipping costs before purchasing.
