1960’s Vintage ‘Mr Bali Hai, San Diego’ Tiki Mug, the famous Bali Hai on Shelter Island, this would have served the cocktail ‘Mr Bali Hai’, a great concoction, this mug is of the original Mr. Bali Hai, the mascot for the Bali Hai Restaurant in San Diego, this version of the mug was manufactured by OMC and has a concave base marked “Mr. Bali Hai made Exclusively for Bali Hai Restaurant San Diego, Calif” printed on the bottom. Mr. Bali Hai is an oblong head with a bone through the nose and large white hoop earrings, with sleepily lidded eyes, the mug comes with a lid with two straw holes, measures 7″ with lid, it does have some damage, the bone in the nose has been broken and stuck back on, see photos, and the dark colour from the eyes has washed away, also a couple of very small chips in the white paint but apart from the damage this is a great mug, hence price
