1950’s Ladies Vintage ‘Dorset Rex, Fifth Avenue’ Burgundy Lucite Handbag, beautiful shiny burgundy lucite, movable orange/light burgundy lucite handle, gold metal clasp, gold metal trim, textured bottom, Dorset Rex made exquisite sculptural handbags in a wide range of materials in the 1950’s, this handbag is one of the more beautiful styles made of thick sturdy lucite with gold metal trim, inside it has a mirror inside the lid, unfortunately this DOES not have the wording ‘Dorset Rex, Fifth Avenue’, so I guess the mirror has been changed, excellent condition for the age, does have a few little scratches, one on the back, one on the lid and one on the base, but not bad, see photos, size 4″ H without handle, 7″ with handle x 9″ W x 4″ D, would look great with any outfit!
